Bio
A doctoral student in the Harrington Department of Bioengineering, Suneth combines his training in biological engineering (B.S. 2007) and digital music from Cornell University to study the intersection of interactive media, technology and neuroscience at the Arts, Media & Engineering program of Arizona State University. There, he is looking at changes in physiology and brain function as we become further interconnected with computers and virtual environments. His current work ranges from measuring physiological changes in people engaged in virtual environments to developing interactive games for stroke assessment and training. He is interested in the interplay of technology with culture, society, environment, and mind.
Suneth is a Science Foundation Arizona and NSF IGERT fellow, advised by Dr. Jiping He and Dr. Thanassis Rikakis, in the physiological and biosensing research area of the Mixed Reality Rehabilitation group at Arizona State University.
